📋 Description

• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across four delivery teams • Build organizational structure and leadership bench for growth in the Mid-Atlantic region • Build and scale GuidePoint's Agentic Forward Deployed Engineering practice • Define service offerings, delivery methods, technical standards, and reusable accelerators • Lead customer engagements end-to-end from discovery through architecture, rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, and early production implementations • Design solutions integrating AI models and agents with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, identity systems, security controls, and cloud environments • Own pre-sales technical strategy, including customer workshops, technical demonstrations, solution development, proposals, and statements of work • Develop repeatable reference architectures and delivery patterns • Recruit and provide technical leadership to Forward Deployed Engineers • Establish delivery standards and engineering culture • Partner with Northeast leadership to manage pipeline, delivery capacity, utilization, and practice performance against growth targets • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and development practices • Build technical capability around strategic technology partners • Represent GuidePoint through executive briefings, industry events, demonstrations, and thought leadership

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in cybersecurity or related field + 10 years of relevant experience, or MS/MA + 7 years of relevant experience • 10+ years in enterprise technology, software engineering, architecture, or technical consulting • Significant experience in senior technical or advisory roles working directly with enterprise customers • Hands-on experience designing or implementing solutions using generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted software engineering • Experience with orchestration, retrieval, tool use, context management, and evaluation • Strong technical depth across enterprise architecture, AWS, Azure, GCP, APIs, data architectures, DevSecOps, and enterprise integration patterns • Proven consulting skills translating business needs into technical solutions and moving prototypes into secure, scalable production • Experience developing consulting offerings, reference architectures, accelerators, or repeatable delivery methodologies • Commercial awareness of how technical decisions affect scope, effort, risk, and margin • Experience mentoring engineers or consultants • Experience partnering with sales teams to shape opportunities • Ability to communicate technical value to security leaders and technology executives • Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools • Up to 25% travel, primarily within the Northeast region • Sedentary work • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day • Close visual acuity for computer terminal viewing and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
