📋 Description

• Provide one-on-one guidance to graduate admissions applicants • Advise on school selection, brainstorming, personal statement editing, research proposal and writing sample review, resume construction, interview preparation, waitlist strategy, and decision counseling • Conduct free introductory consultations with prospective applicants • Prepare independently for client sessions and deliver services according to professional and privacy standards • Maintain service records for billing, compliance, and client continuity • Manage calendars directly with clients and meet package deadlines and deliverables • Communicate with clients and administrative contacts • Complete a writing and editing exercise and participate in team interviews during selection

🎯 Requirements

• Expert knowledge of the graduate school application process, particularly in STEM and/or life sciences fields • A PhD in any field is strongly preferred • Exceptional writing, structural editing, and proofreading skills • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage project deadlines, and communicate effectively in written and verbal formats • Candidates with capacity for 15 hours per week or more during peak application cycles are preferred • Must comply with confidentiality and non-conflict obligations • Must be eligible to engage as a 1099 independent contractor • Candidates must not reside in California, Massachusetts, New York, or New Jersey for this opportunity
