📋 Description

• Implementation Consultants within Guidewire Professional Services are responsible for configuration of the system, integration development and some custom development • Work closely and collaborate with other consultants, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Leadership, and many other cross functional team members • Share in company core values of integrity, rationality and collegiality • Coordinate multiple priorities and demonstrate initiative in starting and completing projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of directly related technical experience in a professional services role • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Solid problem-solving skills • Ability to assess and manage risks, and communicate appropriately • Prior experience in a Java/Javascript/web technology development role • Highly experienced working with Java environments and understanding of Java runtime and library functionality including troubleshooting tools • High competency in understanding Log configuration (Log4J) • Understanding and experience with technologies such as Apache Tomcat, AWS (S3, PrivateLink, Lambda, etc) and databases such SQL Server, MySQL, AWS Aurora, etc • Working knowledge of web technologies such as XML, HTML, Java Script, and Apache Velocity • Working experience with software development tools such as Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ, source version control such as GitHub • Working experience and knowledge of API’s, micro services, and understanding of core system integrations • Experienced in maintaining relationships with internal team members and partner organizations • Experienced with working in a cross-functional team and with team members in different geographical locations • Ability to demo the packaged software system • Knowledge of Agile software development processes • Ability to perform peer code reviews on all functional (user stories)
