📋 Description

• Service all Haemonetics product lines as a subject matter expert • Mentor and train new hires and advise on challenging technical issues • Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled reactive service to minimize equipment downtime • Troubleshoot, diagnose malfunctions, and replace faulty components • Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems in the defined territory • Provide onsite customer support, technical assistance, guidance, and training • Respond to service requests and ensure customer satisfaction • Manage customer follow-up and ownership of product and service issues • Interface between field operations and internal support teams • Coordinate new system placements, develop leads, promote upgrades, and support contract renewals • Assist quality teams with data collection and timely reporting • Manage service parts inventory levels • Complete same-day documentation in SFDC service tools • Edit, write, and modify service and training manuals and SOPs • Perform scheduling, call closure, expense reporting, time entry, and parts inventory management • Communicate service progress and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders • Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, development, work assignment, performance appraisal, and problem resolution

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering preferred • Technical Degree or Certificate in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering preferred • 5-8 years’ experience in repairing or servicing medical devices • Mentorship and training experience • IT and/or software troubleshooting experience • Equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines, including electrical and mechanical engineering • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills • Strong communication and customer service skills • Strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting • Proficient with service software applications • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Demonstrated customer service skills • Experience in a regulated environment • BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related degree with knowledge in the biotechnology/biomedical industry, or applicable military experience • 5-8 years relevant technical field service experience • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time • Must be highly motivated and have strong problem solving ability • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Good technical writing abilities • Valid driver's license required
