📋 Description

• Drive profitable growth in the assigned territory • Influence independent agents to sell Hallmark Auto and Renters products • Develop existing and new agency relationships • Generate production growth and execute business plans to meet sales expectations • Communicate with sales and product leadership • Prospect new opportunities and pursue agency appointments • Visit existing agencies and conduct other field sales activities • Manage and develop a territory of independent agents • Find new agency partners and maintain relationships with agents at all levels • Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals • Drive new business policy and premium growth • Assess agency mix of business, retention, and profitability results • Onboard and train agencies on Hallmark products and best practices, including underwriting guidelines, programs, websites, and rating tools • Present effectively to large groups and influence behavior through consultive selling • Evaluate agency relationships for profitability • Attend and participate in industry conventions, events, groups, and associations • Communicate industry trends, competitor changes, product feedback, and market opportunities • Maintain current field activity records, contact information, sales strategy, agency appointment paperwork, reports, and documentation • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory as a field sales representative

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3-5 years of insurance sales experience • Working knowledge of non-standard auto insurance operations, including claims, coverage, products, and underwriting • Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills • Organization and Time Management • Ability to analyze and interpret report data through spreadsheets • Ability to interpret statistical data from company records and build action plans around insights • Problem Solving Skills • Flexible, highly motivated self-starter • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, including 30% overnight travel
