📋 Description

• Support the company’s indirect tax function • Prepare monthly sales and use tax filings and related journal entries • Assist with sales and use tax audits • Research and respond to tax inquiries from Account Executives and/or customers regarding sales tax matters • Maintain customer resale and tax exemption certificates • Prepare and file year-end Forms 1099 • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required • Experience with multi-state sales tax filings • Vertex experience preferred • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and sound decision-making skills • Ability to assess complex or ambiguous situations, prioritize issues, and recommend practical next steps • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business systems • Experience using AI tools or AI-enabled workplace technology preferred • Ability to use AI responsibly, including validating outputs, protecting confidential information, and applying appropriate professional judgment • Excellent communication, organization, time management, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle and maintain confidential data • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines • Positive and professional attitude • Flexibility and ability to work well in a team environment
