📋 Description

• Support analysis of power market trends, risk assessment, regulatory developments, and insights informing power marketing and origination strategy. • Support sourcing and execution offtake opportunities for utility-scale solar, energy storage, and hybrid projects. • Help build strategic partnerships with utilities and other load-serving entities around Power Purchase and Energy Storage Tolling agreements and alternative revenue structures. • Perform data analysis, market research, and cross-functional coordination to prepare proposals and optimize origination strategies. • Support client engagement and power marketing strategies across the U.S. • Maintain CRM platforms, RFP trackers, and related business-tracking systems. • Prepare or support presentations for executive and customer briefings. • Monitor and summarize load-serving entities' integrated resource and procurement plans. • Evaluate U.S. market opportunities, including renewable and energy storage RFPs, and track them for future reference. • Coordinate proposal preparation for RFPs and bilateral opportunities. • Monitor executed power purchase, tolling, build-transfer, and related agreements. • Monitor RTO, market working groups, and trade associations for regulatory and market developments. • Assist in modeling market design and topology changes and their impact on procurement opportunities and future energy prices. • Support forecasting nodal/zonal and OTC energy prices for RTO and bilateral markets using fundamental and third-party models. • Participate in internal and external meetings and communicate findings clearly. • Travel up to 10% of the time.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, sustainability, finance, or a related field. • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant work experience in the electric utility industry's regulatory or commercial sector. • Familiarity with CRM applications and industry platforms such as F1, Procore, LevelTen, Aurora, NPM, or similar tools is a plus. • Coursework in power system analysis, power system economics, power system operations and planning, optimization, data analysis, or object-oriented programming; relevant work experience is also considered if no relevant coursework. • Working knowledge of organized and bilateral electricity markets across the U.S.; familiarity with at least one ISO/RTO market is preferred.
