📋 Description

• Lead complex legal AI programs from strategy through adoption • Create program structure, priorities, decision forums, and momentum across embedded client engagements • Advise General Counsel, legal-operations leaders, and lawyers on AI use cases, sequencing, governance, and adoption • Orchestrate multidisciplinary teams across AI delivery, legal operations, workflow design, change, and technology • Translate configuration, prompting, evaluation, workflow design, risk, and adoption signals into recommendations on scope, sequencing, staffing, and investment • Establish an operating cadence that provides clarity and visibility while preserving speed, experimentation, and ownership • Challenge weak use cases, unrealistic timelines, scope drift, and unsustainable decisions while maintaining executive alignment • Develop reusable frameworks, governance models, reporting methods, and implementation patterns • Bring market and client insight into Harbor Labs and influence its delivery model, offerings, and team evolution

🎯 Requirements

• Led or played a central role in legal AI implementations, from use-case selection through workflow design, evaluation, rollout, and adoption • Credibility with lawyers and senior executives, including General Counsel and legal-operations leaders • Ability to explain complex issues clearly and challenge initial direction with an informed point of view • Experience creating structure, testing new approaches, learning quickly, and improving operating playbooks • Strong program judgment: identify key decisions, surface risk early, sequence work, and focus teams on outcomes • Current AI fluency across leading model providers, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methods, and enterprise AI patterns • Hands-on experimentation with current AI tools and practical understanding of their behavior • Comfort with ambiguity, change, evolving roles, methods, and opportunities • Ability to work with technical experts, consultants, operators, and client teams and lead without relying on hierarchy • Relevant AI training or credentials are valued but not required; demonstrated learning and applied experience matter more • Helpful experience in law firms, corporate legal departments, legal-operations teams, legal technology companies, or professional services • Helpful experience with embedded, managed-services, or recurring delivery models • Helpful experience establishing governance, reporting, or program infrastructure for new or rapidly evolving capabilities • Exposure to product thinking, service design, change management, or enterprise technology adoption • Experience working across global teams and complex stakeholder environments
