📋 Description

• Support industrial and manufacturing clients by identifying and reducing risks affecting safety, productivity, reliability, quality, workforce effectiveness, and regulatory compliance • Conduct EHS assessments, audits, field observations, and compliance evaluations at industrial and manufacturing facilities • Perform industrial hygiene evaluations and risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and improvement opportunities • Evaluate plant operations, management systems, work processes, and field execution practices • Conduct incident investigations and develop recommendations to prevent recurrence • Develop and implement practical solutions improving safety, productivity, reliability, quality, compliance, and workforce effectiveness • Partner with plant leadership, operations, maintenance, engineering, and frontline personnel on sustainable performance improvements • Develop and deliver EHS and workforce training tailored to client needs • Prepare technical reports, assessments, recommendations, presentations, and other client deliverables • Identify client needs and recommend solutions aligned with operational and business objectives • Manage project deliverables, schedules, priorities, and client expectations • Deliver professional, responsive, high-quality consulting services • Support opportunities to expand services and provide additional value to existing clients • Collaborate with Tormod technical teams on integrated EHS and consulting solutions • Contribute to the growth and development of Tormod's EHS consulting practice

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field • CSP, CIH, ASP, CHST, or similar professional certification preferred • At least 5 years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, operational excellence, or related consulting experience supporting industrial or manufacturing operations • Demonstrated experience developing, recommending, implementing, and optimizing operational, EHS, and workforce performance improvements • Experience evaluating plant operations, management systems, work processes, organizational effectiveness, and field execution practices • Experience conducting EHS assessments, audits, industrial hygiene evaluations, risk assessments, and incident investigations • Experience developing and delivering workforce and EHS training within industrial environments • Experience working directly with plant leadership, operations, maintenance, engineering, and frontline personnel • Experience delivering client-facing consulting services and managing project deliverables • Strong knowledge of EHS principles, industrial safety practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills • Ability to identify client needs and develop practical, value-driven solutions • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both leadership and frontline personnel • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and client engagements • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with clients and internal technical teams • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical report development • Ability to work effectively in industrial and manufacturing environments • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality consulting services and measurable value to clients • Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs. • Ability to travel to client facilities and project sites as required • Ability to participate in site walks, assessments, audits, and field observations • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) • Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States
