📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive record reviews with employers, educational institutions, law enforcement agencies, courts, and other knowledgeable individuals • Use approved system accesses to obtain facts and resolve material issues in background-investigation cases • Determine the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of investigation subjects • Use technology, electronic tools, and multiple systems simultaneously to review records • Submit record requests and conduct reviews using VTC, phone interviews, fax, and DoD Safe • Perform occasional local in-person follow-up and obtain money orders when required • Potentially gain exposure to various investigation contracts

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum clearance required to start: Top Secret • Customer credential or ability to obtain it based on National Training Standard certification and recent background-investigation experience for this customer • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in problem solving, planning and organizing work, and communicating effectively orally and in writing • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable determination based on a T5 Investigation • Ability to navigate and utilize multiple technology systems simultaneously • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams • Ability to functionally use the internet to research information • Current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel locally depending on assignment location • Home office with reliable high-speed Internet and fax capabilities • Ability to sit, type, stand, or walk for extended periods • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Ability to properly account for a corporate credit card and complete required expense processes
