• Complete assigned sample pick-up routes throughout San Diego County, ranging from a few stops to approximately 20 client locations per day • Use a personal vehicle for required travel between locations • Pick up replenishment sampling kits and completed stormwater samples from assigned client locations • Verify sample labels, physical Chain of Custody documentation, packaging, and separation of samples from different facilities • Provide replacement sampling kits to clients and address missing documentation when possible • Communicate delays, wait times, scheduling issues, route concerns, and supply needs to Frog Environmental • Deliver samples and required documentation to Frog Environmental the same day and obtain receipt confirmation • Coordinate after-hours deliveries when necessary • Monitor weather forecasts and deploy for authorized stormwater sampling assignments • Collect stormwater samples according to permit requirements, company procedures, regulatory timeframes, and established protocols • Wear PPE and follow safety and clean-sampling procedures • Photograph sampling locations and discharge points and submit same-day documentation • Perform field pH testing and complete Chain of Custody and Sample Event Observation forms • Label, ice, refrigerate, deliver, or ship samples as required • Refer client questions to appropriate Frog Environmental staff • Record work time, mileage, and expenses according to company procedures
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and automobile insurance required • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while managing assigned routes and sampling activities • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including accurate handling of samples and documentation • Ability to follow sampling, safety, chain-of-custody, and other established procedures • Strong professional communication skills • Ability to use a personal cell phone for work-related communication, documentation, and navigation • Ability to complete required training • Background check required • Ability to safely handle and transport sample containers, coolers, sampling kits, and related supplies • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) • Ability to work at client facilities, including outdoor work in rain and varying weather conditions
• Eligible benefits in accordance with applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements • $50.00 per hour for approximately two hours of required initial sampling training • $200 sampling incentive for successfully sampling 1–2 assigned client facilities during a deployment • $50 for each additional client facility successfully sampled during the same deployment • $5 for each eligible scheduled sample pick-up stop completed in accordance with program requirements • Mileage reimbursement in accordance with the applicable California mileage reimbursement rate • Cell phone reimbursement in accordance with Company policy and applicable California law • Overtime paid in accordance with applicable California law • At least two hours of pay per deployment, or any greater amount required by applicable California law
