⢠Develop bid packages ⢠Submit Requests for Quote (RFQs) ⢠Evaluate commercial proposals ⢠Award purchase orders ⢠Expedite vendor data and equipment for various projects ⢠Interpret project scopes, statements of work, and project schedules ⢠Develop procurement plans for goods and services supporting projects ⢠Organize and execute contracts ⢠Negotiate contract conditions with suppliers and contractors ⢠Mentor less experienced Procurement Teammates ⢠Perform work under general supervision
đŻ Requirements
⢠High School Diploma or equivalent required ⢠Bachelor or Master of Science degree in a related field preferred ⢠Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically Project Procurement ⢠Familiarity with heavy industrial projects, including chemical, refining, pulp and paper, power, and manufacturing ⢠Ability to organize effectively and execute contracts ⢠Complete understanding of contract language and commercial terms and conditions ⢠Working knowledge of contract law and the UCC ⢠Ability to negotiate contract conditions with suppliers and contractors ⢠Working knowledge of International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS) ⢠Knowledge and understanding of payment terms ⢠Proficient in SAP, Ariba, or other ERP software ⢠Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook ⢠Excellent verbal and written listening and communication skills ⢠Extreme attention to detail ⢠Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods ⢠Must be authorized to work in the United States
