• Procure quality goods and services meeting cost, quality, and delivery objectives • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure compliance with company policies • Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Finance, and supplier partners on procurement plans driven by demand signals and MRP • Proactively escalate supply-impacting issues • Implement stocking models using demand forecasts, lead times, logistics, and supplier capabilities • Review and adjust stocking models to maintain optimal inventory levels • Identify inventory risks and communicate mitigation options • Maintain purchasing master data and planning parameters • Execute MRP action messages and convert approved demand signals into purchase actions • Create and manage purchase orders; track orders and coordinate inbound logistics • Confirm acknowledgments and update stakeholders on order status • Resolve supplier issues involving price, delivery, and invoice discrepancies • Build supplier relationships and support supplier performance tracking • Champion ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives • Partner with Demand Planning, Operations, Warehousing/Logistics, and Finance to align purchasing with forecasts, production schedules, and cash flow • Provide timely status updates for cross-functional decision-making
• Associate’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Finance or equivalent work experience • Proven 3+ years’ experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles • Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and data parameters • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions • Proficiency in inventory control techniques and inventory management software • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5-10% • Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 25 pounds • Must be able to push/pull 25 pounds • Must be able to stand 25% of the day • Must be able to sit 75% of the day
