• Create business and functional requirements for technology solutions that meet customer needs, delivery dates, and quality standards • Translate end-user and clinician needs into specifications for technical teams • Lead development of clinical requirements integrating practice and technology into safe and efficient patient-care workflows • Serve as a clinical resource and liaison between end-users, clinicians, internal teams, and application technology vendors • Translate business requirements into product-specific designs, detailed requirement specifications, and use cases • Deliver functional specifications, design documents, clinical process workflows, and related documentation • Collaborate with Systems Analysts during software build, configuration, and testing • Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans using clinical scenarios • Demonstrate new functionality to clinical users and gather input on future improvements • Respond to support calls escalated by the Service Desk • Participate in user focus groups, requirements workshops, vendor training, and product demonstrations • Provide critical on-site support during final go-live activities
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar clinical informatics role • A valid clinical certification and/or license is required • Senior-level functional knowledge of healthcare application technology • Advanced proficiency with the MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams) • Strong conviction in the value of project management and a willingness to take on new challenges • Candidates located in the U.S. must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel to Canada as required • Willingness to travel 10-15%
