📋 Description

• Conduct virtual psychiatric assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate medication management plans for clients. • Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting dosages and treatment plans as necessary. • Collaborate with licensed therapists and counselors to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients. • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding medication adherence, potential side effects, and therapeutic interventions. • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements. • Exercise autonomy over clinical decisions and determine effective, clinically appropriate approaches for clients.

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates applying for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role must have an independent collaborative physician arrangement that allows them to practice autonomously. • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric-mental health. • Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and national certification. • Minimum of 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health. • Experience with telehealth platforms and technology for virtual patient consultations. • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
