📋 Description

• Analyze eligibility and benefits information • Perform accurate data entry with high attention to detail • Work in a fast-paced, customer service and production-driven environment • Collaborate with team members, employees/members, providers, and clients • Meet deadlines and provide strong follow-up • Use proprietary systems and MS Excel/Word • Identify potential problems and proactively take steps to remedy them • Prioritize and adapt to business needs while supporting continued process improvement

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent • Minimum 1-2 years of Eligibility and/or benefits experience • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service and production driven environment • Exceptional data entry skills with high attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively with team members, employees/members, providers, and clients • Ability to meet deadlines with strong follow-up skills • Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form • Critical thinking skills; logic and reasoning to foresee and identify potential problems and proactively take steps to remedy the issue • Flexible; open to continued process improvement with the ability to prioritize and adapt to business needs • Ability to learn new/proprietary systems, to adapt to various system platforms, and to effectively use MS Excel/Word • Prior experience in a medical office or hospital billing environment preferred • Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits and/or TPA experience preferred • Must reside within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii
