📋 Description

• Own clinical requirements for detecting and mitigating patient risk across the patient portal, support chat and phone, clinical assessments, conversational intake, and other platform surfaces • Drive a shared severity taxonomy and routing model • Serve as the Clinical Product Patient Safety partner for risk-disclosing product features • Define safety requirements and safeguards, integrate products into existing escalation structures, and red-team failure points • Review safeguard performance after product launch • Audit product surfaces for patient safety gaps and collaborate with clinical and cross-functional partners to close them • Support the clinical safety and quality bar for AI surfaces, including AI-generated clinical notes, treatment planning, and conversational tools • Write rubrics, label gold-standard model cases, and audit model output against clinical assessment • Resolve risk-ownership questions and ensure policies and platform accurately reflect decisions • Communicate clinical tradeoffs to non-clinical stakeholders and push back when product or technical decisions conflict with sound clinical judgment

🎯 Requirements

• Independently Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD) • 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience • Experience working inside a safety or quality system • Confidence in risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis response • Ability to understand and unify disconnected escalation paths into a single model • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, product partners, and operations teams • Ability to translate clinical concepts into concrete criteria for labeling, evaluation, and product development • Working understanding of AI model evaluation, including precision, recall, and false positive rates • Flexibility across quality, safety, and product AI projects • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer • Must answer whether visa sponsorship is required
