📋 Description

• Research healthcare system websites, databases, and reference materials according to departmental and corporate policies • Research and document information on physicians, dentists, specialists, eldercare services, nursing homes, and related resources • Identify appropriate benefit plans and offerings when applicable • Provide accurate, understandable research findings to nurses, advocates, and internal partners • Respond to member requests with clear resources and available options • Enter and maintain accurate documentation in internal systems • Compile research results in a user-friendly format to support member decision-making • Track cases and conduct timely follow-ups with members and providers • Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, HIPAA, COBRA, and applicable federal and state regulations • Monitor recurring research issues or trends and escalate concerns to leadership

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Associate degree in business, liberal arts, healthcare management, or a related field preferred • At least one year of healthcare-related experience preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and clarify requests • Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution abilities • Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to quality • Solid organizational and multitasking skills, including consistent follow-up • Comfort using MS Word, Excel, and web-based research tools • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) may be required based on assignment
