📋 Description

• Provide essential support and personalized care to clients in accordance with the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene • Supervise clients during activities to promote safe functioning • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and applicable state and federal requirements • Report significant changes in the client’s environment, behaviors, and circumstances to the Supervisor • Communicate schedule changes promptly to the Supervisor • Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and their families • Monitor client environments, identify safety hazards, and eliminate or report hazards • Accurately log time using the EVV system or complete paper timesheets and other required documentation • Attend required meetings and training • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate/GED preferred • Six months of working as a Personal Attendant preferred but not required • Must be competent to provide personal assistance services as demonstrated by experience or testing • Strong interpersonal skills, compassionate attitude, patience, empathy, and integrity • Reliable transportation • Valid and current driver’s license and auto liability insurance if driving • Ability to lift, transfer, and support clients who may be overweight or disabled • Ability to move about in the home and stand for prolonged periods • Ability to remain calm and courteous in stressful situations • Ability to use Standard Precautions when exposed to infections, blood, and/or bodily fluids • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and proof of current valid auto liability insurance • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients when required • Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously • Ability to grasp, pull, push, carry, or otherwise manipulate objects • Ability to communicate clearly face-to-face and by phone • Ability to hear and receive verbal instructions correctly • Ability to concentrate on fine detail and focus on tasks for specified periods • Ability to understand and remember verbal and written tasks • Excellent computer software skills • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, or similar software required • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality • Ability to work independently and with others in a shared environment
