📋 Description

• Provide adult care partner/attendant services in clients’ homes according to each client’s plan of care • Aid with activities of daily living • Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation • Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation • Provide companionship and build lasting client relationships • Escort clients • Provide personal care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding • Communicate professionally with families and the care team • Tend to clients’ daily needs and support independence • Follow standard precautions when exposed to potential infections, blood, or bodily fluids • Operate office equipment and prepare/read data, figures, records, and reports as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate/GED preferred (not required) • Six months of experience as a Personal Attendant preferred but not required • Competence to provide personal assistance services, demonstrated by experience or testing • Strong interpersonal skills, compassionate attitude, patience, empathy, and integrity • Reliable transportation • Valid and current driver’s license and auto liability insurance if driving; valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance must be maintained • Ability to lift, transfer, and support clients who may be overweight or disabled • Ability to move about in the home and stand for prolonged periods • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients when required • Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet deadlines • Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously • Ability to communicate clearly by phone and face-to-face • Ability to hear and receive verbal instructions correctly • Ability to concentrate on fine detail with frequent interruption • Ability to understand and remember verbal and written tasks and assignments • Excellent computer software skills • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, or similar software required • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, exercise professional judgment, and maintain confidentiality • Ability to work independently and with others while maintaining a courteous and positive attitude
