📋 Description

• Provide essential support and personalized care to clients in accordance with the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene • Supervise clients during activities to promote safe functioning • Maintain a safe and clean client environment and monitor for safety hazards • Report significant changes in clients' environments, behaviors, and circumstances to the Supervisor • Communicate schedule changes promptly to the Supervisor • Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and their families • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and applicable state and federal requirements • Accurately log time using the EVV system or complete paper timesheets and required documentation • Attend required meetings and training • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate/GED preferred • Six months of experience as a Personal Attendant preferred but not required • Must be competent to provide personal assistance services, demonstrated by experience or testing • Strong interpersonal skills, compassionate attitude, patience, empathy, and integrity • Reliable transportation • Valid and current driver's license and auto liability insurance if driving • Ability to lift, transfer, and support clients who may be overweight or disabled • Ability to move about in the home and stand for prolonged periods • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients when required to make patient visits • Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds continuously • Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone • Ability to hear and receive verbal instructions correctly • Ability to concentrate on fine detail with frequent interruption • Ability to understand and remember verbal and written tasks and assignments • Excellent computer software skills • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, or similar software required • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality • Ability to work independently and with others
