📋 Description

• Design, configure, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, and load-balancing infrastructure • Monitor network performance using SolarWinds, Datadog, and ThousandEyes and proactively resolve issues • Implement firewall rules, IDS/IPS, segmentation, NAC, and zero-trust security controls • Design and manage AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, gateways, ELBs, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Route 53, Security Groups, Network ACLs, AWS Network Firewall, AWS Shield, CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and AWS Network Manager • Support Azure or GCP networking as required • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and resolve incidents according to SLA targets • Conduct post-incident reviews and contribute to MTTR reduction • Execute network changes through change-management processes and serve as a Tier 3 escalation resource • Develop automation scripts and infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Python • Maintain AWS network IaC for repeatable, auditable deployments • Maintain topology diagrams, runbooks, IPAM, and change records • Support disaster-recovery testing, vendor coordination, and legacy-environment consolidation • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams • Mentor junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent professional experience • 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering or network operations experience • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and STP • Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls • AWS networking expertise, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and AWS Network Firewall • Proficiency with SolarWinds, Datadog, PRTG, or similar monitoring tools • Experience with SD-WAN • Understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SSL/TLS, and PKI • Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Python • Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Preferred: CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification • Preferred: healthcare SaaS or regulated-environment experience, including HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2 • Preferred: large-scale infrastructure integrations or M&A network consolidation experience • Preferred: HealthEdge product familiarity • Candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment criminal background check
