📋 Description

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with sprint goals • Write clear, testable, customer-centric epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Conduct backlog grooming and sprint planning with the Scrum team • Participate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Ensure user stories meet the definitions of ready and done before development and release • Gather and refine requirements with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and internal teams • Use AI tools where applicable to create epics, themes, and user stories • Conduct gap analysis and validate requirements for completeness and feasibility • Refine use cases, workflows, and functional documentation • Serve as the primary point of contact for development teams during sprint execution • Partner with UX/UI designers on design alignment and usability goals • Support QA teams by clarifying acceptance criteria and reviewing test cases • Coordinate with other Product Owners on feature interdependencies • Capture feature requests, enhancement ideas, and feedback in stakeholder meetings • Communicate backlog priorities, delivery timelines, and sprint progress to internal stakeholders • Help ensure delivered features meet customer and stakeholder expectations • Apply healthcare claims workflow, billing terminology, and reimbursement knowledge • Support HIPAA and HITECH compliance with internal teams • Translate complex healthcare requirements into understandable product features

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizen or Green Card holder required • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field • 2+ years of product owner experience in healthcare technology or claims administration • Familiarity with Agile software development and Scrum methodology • Proficiency with Jira or similar Agile tools for backlog management • Basic understanding of software development processes and technical constraints • Familiarity with Confluence, Miro, Figma, or similar collaboration tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and resolving blockers quickly • 2+ years of experience working with AI tools for product development, requirements engineering, or business analysis preferred • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification preferred • Understanding of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, and X12 EDI • Ability to work across multiple time zones in a hybrid or remote work environment • Candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment criminal background check
