HealthX Partners is a consortium of organizations dedicated to advancing global health outcomes and promoting health equity. The group operates globally (examples noted in Kenya, Ethiopia, DR Congo) and addresses family planning, HIV prevention and treatment, TB, malaria, sanitation, maternal and child health, and digital-first women-centered care through VIYA Health. PSI’s 2023 reach and EGPAF’s program footprint (including over 35 million pregnant women reached and work in 19 countries) are part of the consortium’s combined capabilities.

📋 Description

• Provide on-call help-desk advisory services to PSI’s Cost and Pricing function • Respond to cost and pricing queries submitted through the C&P mailbox and flag policy-level or sensitive issues • Review proposal budgets and budget narratives for accuracy, consistency, reasonableness, indirect cost rates, donor cost principles, and solicitation requirements • Advise on solicitation cost and pricing requirements and draft responses to solicitation questions • Prepare budget templates and support or lead budget development • Strengthen country office capacity in budget development and cost estimation • Deliver time-bound capacity-strengthening training and support activities • Troubleshoot Excel formula errors, broken links, and budget-model template issues • Provide written review comments within agreed turnaround times • Submit monthly progress reports covering help-desk tickets, observations, tool revisions, and other requests • Coordinate with PSI C&P staff through biweekly check-ins and meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated cost and pricing experience, including developing proposal budgets for a variety of government and non-government funders in international development • Experience budgeting for cost reimbursable, milestone-based, firm-fixed-price, and other grant and contract types • Professional proficiency in MS Office Suite • Strong MS Excel skills, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and IF statements • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Flexibility to adjust priorities according to workload • Must be based in the United States • Updated resume/CV and brief cover letter required for application
