📋 Description

• Set and own product priorities for case management, data workflows, clinical review and sign-out, and data delivery • Translate input from clinical users and business partners into an executable product roadmap • Use AI to build and iterate quickly from user research to prototypes and specifications • Distill nuanced clinical needs into scalable product requirements • Navigate tradeoffs to deliver efficiency and scalability while maintaining clinical quality • Bridge lab directors, scientists, and global engineering teams to ensure seamless product releases • Oversee data privacy, security, and governance within AI-driven solutions • Learn Helix products, customers, processes, and stakeholders during onboarding • Contribute to projects and take ownership of team initiatives • Build OKRs with the manager and demonstrate impact on the Helix mission

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Engineering, or a related technical field • Deep experience or knowledge of clinical genomics and variant interpretation • 5+ years of software product management experience in a biotech laboratory, ideally within a clinical setting • Comfortable building AI tools and applying critical judgment to AI outputs and automation decisions • Understanding of product integrity, user needs, business goals, privacy, and regulatory requirements • Exceptional communication skills • Ability to translate complex technical and biological nuances into clear, actionable product needs • Highly organized and reliable • Ability to make high-stakes, risk-based tradeoff decisions • CLIA/CAP and/or medical device experience is a plus • Some familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus • Simple programming abilities with any language are a plus
