📋 Description

• Serve as the primary field-based clinical educator for surgeons, advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, wound care clinicians, and perioperative staff • Deliver product education on patient selection, application technique, post-application management, complex anatomy, difficult-to-manage wounds, and compatibility with adjunctive modalities • Identify knowledge or technique gaps and reinforce best practices • Collaborate with Clinical Leadership and Medical Affairs to ensure scientifically accurate and compliant education • Provide in-person clinical support during surgical procedures evaluating or adopting Mirragen, acting as a clinical resource and educator rather than a direct patient-care provider • Participate in pre-case planning with Sales and provide real-time guidance on product preparation, handling, placement, and workflow integration • Coordinate post-case follow-up and document clinical support activities • Lead product evaluation trials, defining objectives, patient populations, documentation expectations, and success criteria with account teams • Provide patient-selection guidance, baseline education, structured follow-up, wound measurement and photograph review, and outcome calculations such as Percent Area Reduction • Identify stalled progress and escalate to Clinical Leadership or Medical Affairs when needed • Develop Evaluation Summary Reports and support conversion strategy while maintaining separation between clinical guidance and commercial negotiation • Provide clinical follow-up and troubleshooting in operating rooms, clinics, or wound centers • Reinforce wound bed preparation, moisture balance, offloading, compression, and post-operative protection • Escalate clinical questions, safety concerns, adverse events, product complaints, and off-label inquiries through company channels • Ensure complete and accurate evaluation documentation and photographic records in accordance with privacy requirements • Analyze treatment trends, product utilization, and barriers to success • Identify surgical cases and investigators for case reports, case series, posters, abstracts, or manuscripts • Coordinate prospective consent, photography, measurements, and follow-up information with providers and internal teams • Work as the clinical extension of the field team and conduct joint field visits and territory/account planning • Provide education and support product implementation and workflow adoption at hospitals and health systems • Represent Engineered Tissue Solutions at surgical, wound care, and specialty conferences • Support identification and development of surgeon champions, faculty, investigators, and key opinion leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license required; advanced practice licensure may be considered when aligned with role needs • Minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience in surgery, perioperative services, advanced wound care, trauma, orthopedics, podiatry, plastic surgery, or a closely related specialty • Demonstrated experience educating physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams • Comfort and credibility in the operating room • Ability to interpret clinical literature and analyze wound measurements and clinical outcomes data • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms, CRM or field activity systems, and electronic documentation tools • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company travel requirements • Preferred certification such as CWS, CWON, CWOCN, WCC, CSWD-C, CNOR, or another relevant advanced clinical credential • Preferred experience in medical device, biotechnology, regenerative medicine, or advanced wound care field support, including product evaluations, case series, or conference presentations • Ability to travel as required for field-based clinical support
