📋 Description

• Process payroll across multiple job sites, wage classifications, and union jurisdictions • Manage union reporting, fringe benefit contributions, labor compliance documentation, certified payroll reporting, and prevailing wage documentation • Lead month-end close and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP • Manage accounts payable and project invoicing • Apply best practices for job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting • Conduct variance, trend, and cost analysis to support strategic decision-making • Manage organizational cash flows and forecast future financial needs • Oversee budgeting, track performance, and provide variance reports • Ensure compliance with tax filings, government reporting, and financial disclosures • Identify cost-saving opportunities and present recommendations to senior management • Support ownership with day-to-day operations, reporting, insurance, benefits, and ad hoc administrative needs • Report directly to the site location CEO and Heritage Fencing platform leadership

🎯 Requirements

• CPA qualification preferred • 5+ years of relevant hands-on financial experience, with a focus on construction accounting including WIP and job costing • Strong understanding of percent-of-completion (PoC) and field services/project-based accounting is required • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial analysis • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage and NetSuite is a plus • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills • Experience in a high-growth environment, ideally in a private equity-backed company • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial role, willing to establish new processes/systems and navigate evolving team structures • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
