• Help shape the future of environmental programs supporting NASA, DOE, DoD, TSA, VA, and commercial space. • Identify opportunity, build strategy, develop relationships, gather intelligence, and drive pursuits with minimal oversight. • Advancing priority federal opportunities from early identification through pursuit decision, capture execution, proposal planning, and transition support. • Partner closely with Business Development leadership to engage customers, collect and analyze competitive intelligence, shape win strategies, and build high-value teams with primes, subcontractors, and strategic partners. • Develop actionable capture strategies, gather customer and competitor intelligence, and advance opportunities across the federal marketplace. • Plan and manage customer engagement activities in compliance with procurement integrity requirements and customer-specific rules. • Build and sustain customer relationships across targeted federal environmental, aerospace, mission support, and technical services markets; understand customer priorities, acquisition drivers, operational challenges, and emerging needs, and translate insights into actionable capture strategies. • Research and validate opportunity details, including mission need, acquisition approach, likely evaluation criteria, budget signals, incumbent posture, procurement timelines, and competitive landscape. • Manage opportunities from pursuit decision through proposal planning and transition to operations, ensuring continuity throughout the capture lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental discipline (such as environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, biology, chemistry) or equivalent relevant experience. • Demonstrated capture and/or business development experience supporting environmental services, environmental compliance, or related federal markets. • Established network of government and industry contacts within the environmental sector, with demonstrated ability to obtain decision-relevant intelligence through professional outreach and relationship management. • Proven ability to support or lead capture activities including opportunity shaping, intelligence gathering, strategy development, teaming, customer positioning, and price-to-win support. • Strong writing, presentation, and briefing skills with the ability to prepare concise and actionable capture artifacts and leadership materials. • APMP, Shipley, or equivalent capture methodology training and experience (preferred). • Experience supporting pursuits where pricing activities begin prior to RFP release and are integrated into capture strategy (preferred). • Experience building teams for large IDIQs, BPAs, and multi-year environmental programs (preferred). • Familiarity with structured gate reviews, proposal readiness reviews, and color team review processes (preferred). • Experience using Salesforce, GovWin, SAM.gov, or similar business development and capture platforms (preferred).
