📋 Description

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and review outstanding checks for stale-dated items • Maintain amortization and depreciation schedules • Prepare, verify, and post journal entries while maintaining general ledger integrity • Prepare account analyses and timely balance sheet reconciliations • Support month-end and year-end close activities and financial reporting • Assist with Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, expense report review, payment approvals, and weekly processing • Assist with Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, cash receipts, collections support, and billing • Support Deltek Costpoint billing functions and project setup • Prepare and remit sales and use tax filings • Prepare and submit IFF filings and payments to GSA • Assist with financial reporting, ad hoc analyses, and accounting projects • Maintain accounting records in accordance with GAAP, company policies, and government contracting requirements • Provide cross-functional accounting support to ensure continuity of operations • Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team on process improvements • Become cross-trained across key accounting functions • Provide supporting documents for internal and external audits, including financial statement and ICS audits • Assist with Incurred Cost Submission support schedules • Maintain knowledge of accounting standards, government contracting regulations, and Deltek Costpoint best practices • Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong knowledge of GAAP and FAR regulations • Extensive experience supporting government contractors, including DCAA-compliant accounting environments • Experience supporting month-end and year-end close activities • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Extensive Deltek Costpoint experience; Version 8 experience preferred • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or Controller preferred • Ability to work varied weekly hours based on business needs; no minimum number of hours guaranteed • Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required • May occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance • Low amount of travel away from office may be required
