📋 Description

• Architect solutions across hardware, software, services, as-a-service offerings, and third-party components • Develop and articulate customer proposals that meet business and technical requirements • Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers through presentations and demonstrations • Demonstrate expertise in solution domains, products, services, customer environments, and business needs • Quantify business problems, position business value, and assess solution strengths and weaknesses • Translate outcome-based solutions into scalable functional and technical designs • Track emerging technologies and incorporate industry and customer technology trends • Contribute to industry development through conferences, presentations, demonstrations, booth support, and events • Gather and apply competitive intelligence for account support • Drive account business planning and develop customer technical strategies • Participate in deep-dive discussions and build customer relationships with executives • Produce comparative analyses of alternative solution approaches • Develop, configure, and right-size workload solutions balancing cost, scope, scale, and benefits • Leverage partner products and services and transfer knowledge to external partners • Build pipeline through identifying enhancements, unmet needs, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities • Monitor and nurture active deals from opportunity through close • Participate in sales forecast meetings and help accelerate the sales lifecycle • Document sales-cycle activities using designated tools and share best practices • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge with peers

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US citizen • 50%+ travel required • 6+ years working with or supporting the Federal Sector in DOD • 6+ years of technical IT experience focused on technical consulting and solution selling • Hands-on experience in system and network administration, data center operations, and enterprise infrastructure management • Ability to architect, configure, and demonstrate solutions meeting DoD mission requirements • Demonstrated ability to balance technical rigor with practical implementation • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications • Advanced experience leading solution configurations and creating demos and proofs-of-concept • Advanced understanding of company products, software, services, solution domains, and ecosystem combinations • Advanced ability to translate aaS, ecosystems, value propositions, solutions, and workloads into customer outcomes • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including communication in English and applicable local languages as needed • Advanced business and financial acumen, including sales cycles, pipeline growth, reporting, business strategy, TCO/ROI, and financial models • Advanced consultative/value selling skills, including whiteboarding, objection handling, and closing • Advanced knowledge of company business, technical tools, and CRM systems • Advanced resource management skills • Hands-on experience with relevant products, solutions, tools, or services • Ability to design demonstration and walkthrough playbooks • Ability to deliver live demonstrations and walkthroughs • Advanced project and time management knowledge or experience, analytical and problem-solving skills, and due diligence • Advanced knowledge of partner offerings and go-to-market strategy • Advanced strategic planning and account planning skills • Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies/certifications are helpful but not required • Advanced degree in technology preferred
