📋 Description

• Database Migration Consultant (Senior / Pod Lead) role for Fastwater Staffing. • Manage database migration projects ensuring successful execution. • Collaborate with teams on database architecture and migration strategy. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card (Permanent Resident) holder ONLY. • 8+ years of database engineering, database migration, or database architecture experience. • Expert-level experience with: Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and SSIS/SSRS • PostgreSQL / Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL development and performance tuning • SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration projects • Strong hands-on experience with: AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) • AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) • Schema conversion and code-object remediation • Full-load and CDC migration strategies • Database performance tuning, indexing, and optimization • Large-scale database modernization initiatives • Experience leading database migration teams and reviewing technical deliverables. • Preferred: AWS Certified Database – Specialty. • Production experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL. • Experience leading enterprise-scale SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration programs.
