📋 Description

• Provide hands-on field service support for power transformers • Help customers install, maintain, and restore critical electrical assets • Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, follow technical manuals • Complete detailed service activities that support equipment reliability and safe operation • Perform on-site and remote service activities including installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and replacements • Support customer operations by addressing technical issues and anticipating service needs • Read and work from electrical and mechanical drawings, instructions, and technical manuals • Complete internal transformer work such as bushing connections, lead clearance, tapping, crimping, taping, and contoured joints • Repair, re-gasket, assemble, and disassemble transformer equipment as directed • Operate and maintain vacuum oil processing and oil handling equipment with direction • Coordinate logistics for service jobs, including tools, resources, and spare parts

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree with 2 years of professional work experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of professional work experience • Broad knowledge of transformer field service operations and transformer field testing • Familiarity with transformer installation and assembly, vacuum and oil processing, and internal transformer components • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 85% • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders
