📋 Description

• Work with price optimization based on future forecasted outcomes of price and promotions • Lead data science initiatives that drive business profitability, increased efficiencies, and improved customer experience • Assist in developing The Home Depot advanced analytics infrastructure that informs decision making • Apply advanced analytics methods and algorithms to identify trends and provide business solutions • Design and develop algorithms and models against large datasets to create business insights • Serve as a technical lead for analytics projects and potentially lead small projects independently • Select, utilize, and interpret advanced analytical methodologies • Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical leaders and business partners • Prepare reports, updates, and presentations on project or solution progress • Collaborate with internal customers, cross-functional teams, project teams, and business partners to determine project goals • Explore developments in data science, technical skill sets, and additional data sources • Develop replicable solutions, documentation, process flowcharts, and reusable algorithm libraries

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Proficient with Linear Optimization tools (Gurobi preferred) • Past experience developing Optimization solutions and Deep Learning solutions in a professional environment • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics • PhD in a quantitative field preferred (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc) • Proficient in Python and SQL • Mastery utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems • Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modelling like optimization, forecasting, or recommendation • Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modelling, data mining, and data analysis • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
