📋 Description

• Lead data science initiatives that drive profitability, efficiency, and customer experience improvements • Develop advanced analytics infrastructure to inform decision making • Forecast outcomes of pricing and promotion actions using AI, deep learning, and forecasting techniques • Lead data science projects and collaborate with project/product managers • Prioritize tasks, balance workload, and mentor data scientists • Present insights and recommendations to leaders and business partners • Explain benefits and impacts of recommended solutions • Provide input on staffing needs and participate in recruiting and hiring • Design and develop algorithms and models using large datasets • Select, utilize, and interpret advanced analytical methodologies • Prepare project reports, updates, and presentations • Determine project goals with project teams and business partners • Direct work prioritization and ensure quality • Mentor and coach junior team members • Collaborate on workload and resource distribution • Educate technical and non-technical business partners on advanced analytics • Seek new business opportunities for data science • Research developments in data science, technical skills, and data sources • Develop replicable solutions, documentation, process flowcharts, and reusable algorithms • Define best practices and vision for data analysis and model productionalization • Document developed code

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field, or equivalent degree through the typical education path • Proficiency in time series forecasting and deep learning techniques • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics preferred • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Proficiency in a modern scripting language, preferably Python • Proficiency querying data, preferably using Google BigQuery or SQL • Proficiency with data visualization software, preferably Tableau • Mastery of statistical techniques for identifying business insights • Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modeling, data mining, and data analysis • Minimum 5 years of work experience
