📋 Description

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams to improve systems driving user and revenue growth • Define product strategy through measurement and metrics design, experimentation, causal analyses, deep data analyses, and research • Develop action-oriented insights through observational causal analysis and experiment meta-analysis, communicating recommendations to stakeholders up to the C-suite • Guide the design, execution, and deep-dive analysis of A/B tests • Create ETLs, tables, dashboards, and self-serve data tools • Design, evaluate, and measure team-level KPIs for quarterly goal setting and impact demonstration • Engage stakeholders throughout projects to align data science and business goals • Mentor junior data scientists and business partners in data science best practices and methods

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or Operations Research • M.S. holders: 5+ years of industry experience in applied science or data science roles • Ph.D. holders: 4+ years of industry experience in applied science or data science roles • Expertise querying relational databases using SQL • Programming expertise in R and/or Python • Deep understanding of online experimentation (A/B testing), causal inference, and statistical techniques • Comfort working in innovative and fast-paced environments with a bias toward action • Strong technical communication and data storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to tackle ambiguous and undefined problems by creating action plans, gathering feedback, and iterating
