📋 Description

• Reduce costs and improve service to stores by managing assigned areas of Logistics • Provide support and direction for area efforts • Manage all aspects of assigned operations and programs • Participate in strategic planning and facilitate action on plans • Provide technical logistics expertise and store/retail expertise as needed • Plan resources to complete competing priorities within provided timeframes • Prepare project designs and timelines • Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff • May negotiate transportation costs for inbound and outbound freight • Report typically to Supply Chain Management • Manage direct and indirect reports • Travel overnight up to 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job • Minimum 6 years of work experience • Experience in the Logistics field • Management experience • Highly developed interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations • Ability to evaluate situations with a variety of interpretations • Ability to determine priorities and define methods for completing general assignments • Ability to plan resources, manage competing priorities, prepare project designs and timelines • Ability to work under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas, and difficult people-related or situational issues
