📋 Description

• Lead a team of engineers building and designing customer- and associate-focused products • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software • Take a broad, global-lens approach to technical issues • Develop functional, destructive, and other test suites to enable rapid production deployment • Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring • Contribute reusable foundational code elements, architectural diagrams, and product documentation • Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are developer-ready, understandable, and testable • Collaborate with team members in agile processes • Field questions from product and engineering teams • Provide guidance on modern software development frameworks and lead technical discussions • Mentor junior engineers and identify team productivity gaps • Support architecture improvements, cloud migration, application modernization, and technical direction across teams

🎯 Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a job-related field, or equivalent work experience • Minimum 3 years of work experience • Experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications in modern cloud environments • Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Large Language Models • Experience building AI-powered features and integrating AI services into applications • Front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, Angular, or Vue • Ability to balance approximately 30% front-end and 70% back-end development • Back-end development with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java • Experience building APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and security best practices • Experience with unit, integration, functional, performance, and automated testing • Troubleshooting, debugging, root cause analysis, monitoring, and production issue resolution • Git or other version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices • Experience designing highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable systems • Experience with performance optimization, disaster recovery, and operational excellence • Experience modernizing legacy applications through refactoring, architecture improvements, and cloud migration • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Understanding of modern software design patterns and engineering best practices • Exposure to technical roadmap planning, work estimation, and architectural decision-making • Strong communication and collaboration skills across Product, UX, Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams
