📋 Description

• Develop the enterprise’s compliance strategy aligned with corporate objectives and government contracting requirements • Oversee the Ethics Awareness and Compliance Program, including policy and procedure development, implementation, and auditing • Maintain, update, and distribute the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct • Ensure regular compliance and Code training for employees and onboarding training for new hires • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and other changes affecting the Program and communicate impacts to executive leadership • Conduct periodic risk assessments and review the Program at least annually • Promote a culture of compliance, ethics, and accountability • Identify resources and data access needed to operate an effective Program • Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of regulatory filings and documentation • Oversee anonymous and confidential internal reporting systems, including a Hotline • Ensure internal reports are appropriately handled, resolved, and documented • Investigate alleged violations and develop mitigating corrective action when appropriate • Oversee policies and procedures for required government notifications and disclosures • Advise executive leadership and periodically report to the C-Suite and Board of Directors on Program effectiveness, issues, and resource needs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles in the government contracting sector • Active Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation through the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics • Bachelor’s degree required • Advanced degree in law, public policy, business, or a related field preferred • Deep knowledge of federal procurement regulations • Experience with SBA regulations strongly preferred • Experience with internal and external audits, including government-initiated audits • Proven ability to advise executive leadership and manage enterprise-level risk • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Availability during standard business hours • Dedicated workspace for remote work • Ability to support occasional early morning or evening deadlines or business needs • Occasional travel required • Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, type and read from a computer screen, and bend, reach, and kneel • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as necessary
