📋 Description

• Own security at Engine end to end across strategy, engineering, operations, and trust posture • Stand up the AI security function and build an internal AI gateway with authentication, authorization, logging, DLP, and model allowlisting • Define AWS agent identity with scoped roles and short-lived credentials • Harden consumer-facing AI surfaces with authenticated MCP, prompt-abuse detection, output filtering, and CI red-team regression testing • Lead AppSec and SecArch, SecOps, CloudSec, and corporate IT functions • Drive secure-by-design intake, secrets refactoring, organization-wide RBAC, SIEM detection engineering, automated response playbooks, and identity-log onboarding • Harden Salesforce least privilege, contractor and BPO access, insider-threat monitoring, and production data hygiene • Own security diligence, customer security reviews, trust artifacts, and technical controls behind SOC 2 and PCI • Own identity, endpoint fleet, SaaS administration, joiner-mover-leaver automation, and entitlement hygiene • Report to the SVP of Engineering and AI and represent security to executives, the board, and enterprise customers • Deliver first-year outcomes including an AI security team, production AI gateway, agent identity enforcement, prompt-abuse pipeline, improved access controls, and sustained SOC 2 and PCI controls

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in security • 5+ years leading security organizations • Experience ideally through hypergrowth and a major fundraise or IPO-track diligence process • Deep technical credibility in agent identity models, AI gateway architecture, and detection engineering • Current knowledge of prompt injection, agentic access, model-mediated data exfiltration, and LLM red teaming • Experience building net-new functions from zero headcount to a working team with real controls • Fluency in AWS identity, CSPM, EDR, SIEM operations, and modern AppSec tooling in CI • Experience owning corporate IT, identity platforms, endpoint fleets, and SaaS governance • Executive presence for board briefings and enterprise customer security reviews • Experience securing customer-facing AI or LLM products at scale is nice to have • Background in payments, travel, or another PCI-regulated, high-transaction-volume environment is nice to have • Experience partnering with legal on privacy programs and regulatory frameworks is nice to have
