📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted second-in-command to the General Counsel • Support U.S. retail insurance brokerage operations • Act as a legal advisor covering both specialty and retail insurance broking lines • Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations • Manage U.S.-based litigation and identify legal risks • Collaborate to build and mentor the U.S. legal team

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) • Strong background in U.S. insurance, commercial, and regulatory law • Deep knowledge of the insurance retail brokerage landscape • Experience in private equity-backed businesses or dynamic environments • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed environment • Strategic and operational leadership capabilities
