📋 Description

• Develop account-based sales strategies and execute them to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives • Conduct high-quality prospect calls to secure new accounts; spend approximately 40% of the role prospecting and 60% managing active accounts • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities and update competitive knowledge in SalesForce.com • Increase the customer base through prospect calling, lead management, referrals, and account expansion support • Utilize Key Account Managers, Lens Consultants, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Service, Accounts Receivable, Credit, and other resources to manage the territory • Understand, create, and negotiate pricing within HOYA pricing guidelines • Plan, develop, and participate in product training, custom marketing programs, and events • Resolve customer issues promptly and strengthen customer relationships • Support national marketing campaigns and collateral efforts • Establish positive working relationships with colleagues • Travel as required, including possible weekend travel • Achieve sales objectives and grow sales volume for HOYA, Pentax, Seiko, and Vision Ease products and services • Develop and maintain relationships with small to mid-size retail and wholesale accounts • Conduct persuasive conversations with decision-makers to achieve growth requirements • Conduct business consistently with HOYA Cares Values

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses is required • Very strong written and verbal communication skills, including persuasion and sales presentations • Effective time management, organization, and multitasking skills • Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills • Excellent follow-up skills • Basic knowledge and skill on PC to operate PC-based analytical equipment • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SalesForce.com • Ability to work without constant supervision • Consistent attendance and punctuality • Ability to travel as required, including possible weekend travel
