• Review and verify high school transcripts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with institutional policies • Calculate and evaluate GPA equivalencies • Input data into databases and/or spreadsheets for easy retrieval, reference, and analysis • Handle confidential student information with discretion, security, and integrity • Perform significant review and data entry of transcript data for applicants to UT Austin • Complete training and assessment
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin • Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA • Have and maintain good academic and judicial standing at the University • Maintain discretion, security, and integrity with confidential information • Must be timely, responsible, and responsive • Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team • Able to think critically and problem solve to interpret data and make reasonable conclusions • Experience reviewing academic records or transcripts is preferred • Familiarity with domestic or international education systems is preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or SharePoint • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Worker is required to have a laptop/PC • Worker is required to have good/reliable internet connection • A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) • If hired, must complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form and present acceptable original documents proving identity and authorization to work in the United States
• Training will be provided • Preference will be given to students who receive Federal Work-Study through the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid • Students in this position may choose to enroll in the UTSaver voluntary retirement programs
