📋 Description

• Address incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries from Louisiana Medicaid members • Conduct outbound calling campaigns to assist members • Address complex benefit questions and resolve member issues • Educate members and strive to provide a First Call Resolution experience • Record details of inquiries, comments, complaints, transactions, and interactions • Take appropriate action based on recorded interactions • Escalate unresolved and pending customer grievances • Interpret department policies and methods for completing assignments • Prioritize and schedule work within defined parameters • Complete varied administrative, operational, and customer support assignments • Participate in virtual classroom training and nesting periods • Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience • Must currently reside in the state of Louisiana • Must be available to work any shift between 6:45 am–7:00 pm CST, Monday–Friday • Some weekends and overtime required based on company needs • Demonstrated experience providing strong customer service and attention to details while listening on calls • Experience managing multiple or competing priorities, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously • Experience effectively communicating with customers verbally and listening to their needs • Ability to accurately and completely document member needs, inquiries, or questions during calls within multiple systems • Prior call center experience preferred • Prior healthcare experience preferred • Must meet minimum home internet speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Must work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Must be willing to remain in the position for twelve months before applying to other Humana opportunities outside the Louisiana Medicaid Contact Center Team
