• Respond independently to unsolicited medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, patients, caregivers, and payers • Research and critically evaluate medical literature to create evidence-based responses • Identify and accurately document adverse events and product complaints • Generate adverse event and product complaint reports in compliance with standard operating procedures • Apply FDA post-marketing adverse event reporting regulations and safety terminology • Assess the level and depth of information required for each inquiry • Handle requests across phone, email, CRM, chat, and other platforms • Coordinate processes for responding to product quality-related complaints • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants • Maintain current knowledge of products, therapeutic areas, and client requirements • Ensure accurate documentation, high quality, and excellent customer service • Staff scientific medical affairs booths • Participate in assigned on-call responsibilities • Contribute to process improvements affecting Medical Information Contact Center metrics
• Associate, Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline from an accredited institution • Strong clinical and healthcare background • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to interpret and communicate medical information clearly and accurately • Minimum 2 years of work experience in medical and healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent • Direct clinical or patient-facing healthcare experience strongly preferred • Experience in a Contact Center preferred • Technology proficiency in telephony, Medical Information database, Microsoft Office, and video conference platforms • Therapeutic expertise • Ability to critically evaluate medical literature • Knowledge of Medical Information contact center systems and processes • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent licensure preferred • Ability to work full time, 40+ hours per week, typically Monday to Friday • Flexibility with work scheduling as required by clients and management • Ability to travel up to 10%
