📋 Description

• Perform law-related tasks including legal research and drafting legal documents • Support the Pharmacy and PBM Legal Sub-team in managing commercial contract work • Interpret varied work assignments and independently determine appropriate courses of action • Apply department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives to assigned work • Make decisions regarding work methods, including in occasionally ambiguous situations • Work with minimal direction and receive guidance where needed • Review and analyze commercial agreements, amendments, non-disclosure agreements, and related documents under attorney supervision • Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Effective interpersonal, teaming and communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proficiency with Adobe Professional and Lexis/Nexis • Excellent research and writing skills • Proven organizational skills and flexibility • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities within designated time frames • Ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences • Preferred: Experience in a corporate legal or compliance department or law firm, with exposure to PBM, pharmacy, or healthcare-related commercial contracts • Preferred: Experience reviewing and analyzing commercial agreements, amendments, non-disclosure agreements, and related documents under attorney supervision • Preferred: Familiarity with pharmacy laws, pharmaceutical supply chain, or pharmacy benefit management operations • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
