📋 Description

• Define and evangelize the enterprise data vision, principles, strategy, and target architecture • Design the transition from legacy point-to-point integrations to domain-aligned data products • Partner with the Data Governance Office to define data product ownership, lifecycle, quality, consumption models, standards, frameworks, and metrics • Establish systems of record and authoritative data sources across domains • Build and execute a prioritized, multi-year roadmap to modernize data platforms and integrations • Sequence consumer migration from legacy data assets to modern data products • Drive adoption of scalable, event-driven, and real-time data patterns • Evaluate and guide selection of data platforms, tools, and integration technologies • Align with security, legal, and compliance teams on regulatory requirements • Align business and IT leaders on data ownership, priorities, and adoption strategies • Drive enterprise-wide adoption and migration through influence and communication • Provide architectural leadership and mentoring across data, integration, and domain architecture teams • Promote best practices and build enterprise-wide data architecture capabilities • Report to an Associate VP, Enterprise Architecture • Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or data architecture • Deep expertise in data architecture and strategy • Proven leadership in large-scale data transformation initiatives, including data platforms, integrations, or migrations • Strong experience with data integration patterns, including APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud data platforms • Demonstrated ability to define enterprise roadmaps and execute across complex organizations • Expertise in data governance, data modeling, and systems of record • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills • Must reside in close proximity to one of the listed locations • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Preferred: Experience implementing data product or domain-driven data architectures • Preferred: Experience in healthcare or regulated industries • Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF • Preferred: Experience with modern data platforms such as cloud data lakes, streaming technologies, and API management platforms
