📋 Description

• Translate business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps • Align business vision, technology strategy, and enterprise standards • Advocate for the business within IT and align technology execution with business strategy • Help execute Humana's Technology Strategy in alignment with corporate vision and segment business strategies • Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with application teams and business and IT stakeholders • Mentor pattern-based development with focus on resource and cost optimization • Drive adoption and delivery of lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework • Align business vision and strategy to value streams, business capabilities, and business functions • Document current-state architecture, value streams, and domain capability models • Apply portfolio rationalization to identify innovation opportunities and reduce risk, complexity, and total operating costs • Define and maintain technology strategies, intermediate architectures, and end-state architectures • Lead application modernization, including rearchitecting legacy mainframe, standalone, and web-based applications • Enable cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS innovation with segment and enterprise shared services teams • Maintain architecture standards and policies and document current trends and best practices • Create application cost models and dashboards based on resource utilization and licensing costs • Evaluate new technologies and platforms and develop architecture standards • Select and use cloud services, technologies, tools, methodologies, and solutions • Mentor application teams on enterprise data-use standards and non-functional needs such as logging, auditing, and end-to-end observability • Support application teams through enterprise governance processes and provide implementation support • Mentor and guide enterprise, solution, technology, and system architects • Report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • 10 or more years of design, development, and testing of software applications • Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems • Self-provided home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed for home or hybrid home/office employees • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information • Preferred: Master's Degree
