πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Conducting training sessions about illegal wildlife abuse crimes at the state and federal levels; β€’ Fostering relationships with students and host agencies on behalf of Humane World for Animals; β€’ Consulting with the Law Enforcement Training Coordinator on training opportunities; β€’ Coordinating training schedules with the hiring and training demands of the Law Enforcement Training Center; β€’ Formulating a teaching outline and determining instructional methods including individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, and workshops; β€’ Administering testing for trainees to measure progress and effectiveness of training; will be responsible for reporting on the progress of employees during training periods.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred; β€’ One year of related training experience required; β€’ Experience working closely with law enforcement on wild animal crimes required; β€’ Must have strong knowledge of animal cruelty laws and investigations, wildlife laws, and a solid understanding of the link between animal abuse and interpersonal violence; β€’ Excellent verbal communication skills and experience within public speaking; β€’ Must be able to and willing to travel.
