📋 Description

• Own the execution of the Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting mission for North America • Translate global strategic goals into actionable regional roadmaps • Manage and grow a team of technical practitioners • Lead regional hiring strategy, capacity modeling, and performance management • Mentor Staff and Principal practitioners • Strategize with leaders in Product, Engineering, and Security • Partner with EMEA/APAC regional managers to ensure consistent standards, seamless handoffs, and shared knowledge • Serve as senior leadership point of contact during North American business hours • Provide strategic direction during high-impact security incidents or mass exploitation events • Track and report key performance indicators and drive systemic improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading technical security teams (Detection Engineering, Hunting, or IR) • Experience managing distributed or remote teams • Ability to balance local autonomy with global alignment • Experience managing resources and priorities as a business unit • Understanding of Detection-as-Code principles • Understanding of adversary tradecraft • Technical depth to guide Staff/Principal Engineers and adjudicate complex technical disagreements • Ability to communicate the value of proactive hunting to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to negotiate with Product/Engineering for required tooling and telemetry
