📋 Description

• Build tools for MongoDB Atlas, a database-as-a-service offering • Develop APIs and customer-facing UIs for interacting with stored data • Support users managing MongoDB deployments and understanding their health and performance • Work across desktop tools such as MongoDB Compass and browser-based Atlas Data Explorer • Handle both frontend and backend engineering tasks • Design and architect modern, scalable, high-availability web applications • Collaborate with the Developer Tools Team • Investigate difficult problems in distributed environments

🎯 Requirements

• Full stack engineering experience with willingness to work on frontend and backend tasks • Experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js • Experience designing and architecting modern, scalable, high-availability web applications • Experience working with databases • Knowledge of database internals and tuning mechanisms, particularly indexing (nice to have) • Experience with websocket-based client-to-server communication (nice to have) • Familiarity with microservice-based architectures using Kubernetes (nice to have) • Must be based in the United States • Must have US citizenship
